I am a gift card purchaser. When I give a gift card to someone else, what will they receive?

Once you have selected the dining experience you wish to gift, purchase the gift card. You enter your email address to receive confirmation, and your recipient’s email address. Once your payment is processed your recipient will receive an e-gift card with a unique code. They then use this code, during checkout, when they book their private chef experience with us.


I am the lucky recipient of a Private Chef Gift Card. How do I redeem?

To book your Private Chef experience, choose 3, 4 or 5 courses from our sampling menu. The number of courses you select is based on the value of the Gift Card you received. If you wish to add on an additional dish or two from our Sampling menu you can do so, and the value of your gift card will go toward the total cost of your dinner.

If your Gift Card includes a wine pairing, we can discuss the pairing during your consultation with your private chef. If you were gifted a package that does not include Wine Pairings and you would like to add Wine Pairings to your dinner, simply book the package with wine pairings, use your gift card towards the total and pay the difference during checkout.

You also have the option of upgrading to one of our designed menus or to a custom menu, and the value of your gift card will go toward the total cost of your dinner. Whichever service you select, you will be able to redeem your gift card during checkout with the unique code you were emailed.


What is included in the Private Chef experience?

The event includes a Private Chef, and all of the food for your chosen dinner. Your Chef will arrive 1.5 hours in advance of your dinner. Most of the meal is prepared on site. However due to the length of certain food preparations, some of the elements to the meal are prepared in advance of arrival at our commercial kitchen. Once on site your Chef will prepare, plate and serve your meal, and leave your kitchen spotless at the end of the evening. Taxes and gratuity are included in the gift card.


When can I book this Private Chef experience?

You can book your Private Chef event on the date of your choice. Note that our schedule can be quite busy on weekends or holidays so please look at your calendar and plan ahead. We will attempt to accommodate your requested date as best as possible.


Do you offer wine pairings?

Yes we do offer wine pairings.

If a wine pairing is not part of the Gift Package you received, you can upgrade to a package with wine pairings, use your gift card value towards the total and pay the difference during checkout.

We will pair the wines to the menu of your choice. Or we can create a custom wine tasting experience for you and your guests.


Do you provide any other beverage tastings? Scotch, Vodka, Cocktails?

Yes we would be delighted to put together any beverage tasting of your choice.  Just ask us!


Can you provide service staff, bartenders?

Yes, we have a roster of highly qualified and experienced service staff and bartenders. Let us know what your needs are.


What if one of my guests has a food allergy?

We can accommodate most food allergies. Please advise of any allergies when you book your Private Chef experience. Note that any food prepared in advance of your dining event does NOT come from a nut free kitchen.


What if one of my guests is a vegetarian?

We can accommodate most variations to the menu you have selected. Please ask when finalizing your menu with our Private Chef.


What if I want a different kind of dining experience – ie. A lunch or cocktail party or in-house teaching event?

We can custom tailor any event and design a unique menu or experience that befits the occasion you wish to create. Please contact us with your request.


Do Gift Cards expire?

No, gift cards never expire.
