Drinks Service

Pairing drinks with food is typically a matter of personal taste! That being said, if you wish to include wine or cocktails as part of the dinner service, please request this during your inquiry and we will add it to the final billing. If you are looking for wine pairing or inventive cocktail suggestions only, we would be delighted to offer recommendations.


Children’s Menu

For young guests, we propose two options. Children can enjoy the same menu as adults, with a 50% reduction in price or we can create a simpler menu for them, according to your preferences. In the latter case the price will depend on the specific dishes created (never exceeding 50% of the price for adults).


Number of Guests

Before you decide on the menu you wish to experience (designed, custom or tasting) choose the number of guests you will be hosting. If you need to increase the number of guests you are hosting, please contact us at least 72 hours in advance at jayne.dunsmore@jaynesgourmet.com so we can accommodate this adjustment.


How does your Chef and staff handle Covid?

All Chefs and service staff wear masks and wash their hands frequently. If required we will plate and serve courses prior to guests being seated. This necessitates guests leaving the table prior to a course being served and leaving the table so our service staff and/or Chef can clear and serve the second course and so on. Your protection and our staff’s protection are our top priority.


How do we go about selecting the wines for your wine pairing?

Pairing is all about matching the main components of a dish and the main components of the wine.  Once you have made your course selections we think about each dish’s dominant flavour, character and intensity and find a wine whose style will best showcase each of the dishes you have chosen.
