Small Plates & Stations


What better way to eat than having a little bit of this, and a little bit of that?

People love variety so having the opportunity to try an assortment of different and unique dishes all in one evening is fun! Combining small plate service or one or two live action stations with some lovely hors d’oeuvres and a few stationary items, provides a fork friendly cocktail experience that encourages mingling! Please feel free to create any dish you like but in the interim here are a few samples of our small plate and live action station services to tantalize…


SMALL PLATES


Land

slow braised beef short ribs - barolo demi, warm corn puree, corn and chanterelle relish, smoked tomato aioli

braised crispy skin pork belly, sticky rice, Thai marinated crispy vegetables

organic butter chicken - rich tomato cream sauce, basmati rice, raita, chutney

oven roasted turkey ballotine with savory stuffing; buttermilk mashed potatoes, roasted sweet yams and gravy, cranberry chutney garnish


Earth

sumac spiced cauliflower steak, warm lemon chickpea salad with kale and currants, cauliflower mash, tahini, chimichurri

lemon basil gnocchi, oven dried tomato, smoky tomato sauce, organic pea shoots, micro greens


Sea

fried plantain tostones, grilled jumbo shrimp, sofrito, mango salsa, queso fresco, cilantro

wild caught salmon croquettes - lemon bechamel, fine bread crust, roasted cashews, polenta, sauce gribiche

~

Seared Hokkaido scallops, white grit polenta, tequila orange sauce

LIVE ACTION STATIONS


Oyster Bar

freshly shucked TO ORDER ‘seasonal oysters’

served with red wine mignonette, freshly grated horseradish, lemon, tabasco


Sushi Station

onsite chef rolled sushi (maki and nigiri) selections to be determined

served with wasabi, pickled ginger and tamari soy


Poke Bowls

with your choice of —

sushi grade ahi tuna, salmon, or spiced grilled tofu

Sticky rice with a a choice of the following toppings —

edamame, pickled cucumber, nori, scallions, pickled ginger, toasted sesame seeds

served with spicy aioli, wasabi, mayo, avocado puree, miso sesame soy


 Carved Beef Station

chef carved beef tenderloin, cooked to medium rare, 

served with horseradish aioli, roasted garlic lemon aioli, whisky grain mustard, crispy shallots, brioche rolls

saffron Israeli couscous, cranberries, pine nuts, pomegranates, tomatoes, parsley, baby kale, lemon olive oil dressing


Spanish Tapas

jamon serrano, carved to order

served with sliced tomato, spicy mustard, manchego, baguette

gambas al ajillo — sautéed garlic shrimp, Spanish olive oil, smoked paprika

patatas croquettas, spinach, saffron aioli


Indian Station

traditional butter chicken

aloo gobi — sautéed potatoes and cauliflower, blended with aromatic Indian spices

garnishes — diced mango, cucumber, toasted coconut, roasted cashews, raisins, cilantro

served with rice and poppadoms


Handmade Pasta

roasted mushroom ravioli, truffle cream, grana padano, fresh herbs

bolognese — fire roasted tomato sauce, ricotta, , parsley, rigatoni, freshly grated parmesan


Risotto

wild mushrooms, truffle cream, shaved parmigiana, torn flat leaf parsley


 Gnocchi & Gnudi Station​

handmade potato gnocchi, shaved parmigiana, pomodoro sauce

ricotta gnudi, peas, sage, brown butter sauce


Pierogi Station

cottage cheese and potato pierogis with the following toppings —

caramelized onions, bacon bits, shredded cheese, chives, sauerkraut, sour cream


Taco Station

soft shell tacos with choice of marinted chicken or tempura fish

served with tricoloured slaw, sour cream, pico de gallo, cheese, avocado mousse


Fajitas Station

tequila marinated chicken and beef strips —

grilled peppers, onions, refried beans, shredded lettuce, cheese, pico de gallo, cilantro, sour cream, guacamole, soft tortillas

served with house made cumin scented tortilla chips


 Children’s Food Station

Will there be lots of children at your wedding?  If so then why not offer them a food station just for them!

S’mores Belgian Chocolate Fondue

soft graham cracker cookies, oreo dusted chocolate brownies, toasted coconut, marshmallow cream, crushed pistachios


Strawberry Shortcakes

​angel food cake, whipped cream, Ontario strawberries


Pavlova ​

soft meringue, grilled stone fruit, whipped cream


Sticky Toffee Pudding

individual sticky toffee puddings served in champagne flutes, sea salt caramel, spiced apple compote, whipped cream


Churros 

cinnamon dusted churros, sea salt caramel, Belgian chocolate fondue
